Aammppaa Posted March 20, 2020 Share Posted March 20, 2020 There is another method: if you have a filled shape or path with a stroke then you can Control + Click on the layer thumbnail. This will select all pixels with >50% transparency on that layer. Sometimes this is quicker / more appropriate method. The original request was about selections from paths, and if that really meant path, as in something drawn with the Pen Tool, the methods shown in that part of the Photo Help (at least, the first 2) don't work. Instead, when drawing the path with the Pen Tool, once the path is closed, click the Selection button on the Context Toolbar.
