I did a search for 'converting files from PagePlus' and found nothing.

How do I open my Page Plus files into Affinity Publisher?  I don't want to lose all the work that I have done already.

Thanks

Viola

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, Viola.

Publisher cannot open PagePlus files. You can continue to use PagePlus if you need to work on those files, or you can export them into a format that Publisher can handle, such as PDF, and import them that way. (You will probably need to do some rework in Publisher, but with luck not too much.)

Much as I like Publisher for most new projects, as a long time PagePlus user, I would strongly recommend that you hang on to it (in addition to Publisher,) for a while yet. There are a number of features in PagePlus that are still not available in Publisher. Mail Merge, and using embedded fonts in PDFs, to name but two!

I found that if you publish your PagePlus X9 file to Acrobat 9 (PDF 1.7), Affinity Publisher will have no problem converting the file. I turn off all page marks, yet keep default settings for everything else. If I publish to our usual PDF/X - 1A, Publisher crashes every time.
