Crashes when switch apps

Recommended Posts

I don't have a solution but can offer a suggestion.
Before switching apps save your work. If you start with Save a Copy then close the file and reopen the saved file using Open from Cloud, you will now be editing an afdesign/afphoto file that is stored on your device or in cloud depending on where you chose to save. You will also now have a Save option in the Documents menu of the edit screen. Tapping this will update the file. If Affinity crashes for some reason your file will still be available to access from your saved location and will be up to date based on saves done. If you simply leave files in Affinity’s sandbox memory, a crash may result in lost edits, or worse a file that cannot be accessed at all.

iPad os reallocates ram as needed, so most likely when you switch apps if ram memory is required elsewhere it 'may' be taken from Affinity. Most pros have 2 or 4gig at most so if you work with large files......

Best to save outside of sandbox.
