Page not displaying properly after upgrading to 1.8.2

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

When opening files created in previous version, pages are not displayed properly. I have a few pages templates with text and image frames. The templates are displayed as expected. The pages are not (screenshots below). I tried reapplying the template; no impact. I tried printing: the preview is as I expect it to be. The first attachment show how the page is displayed; the second one  how the template is displayed.

It definitely looks like a bug. Any idea what could cause this?

Regards

P.S.: I can't attach the afpub document; too large.

Thanks for the file, I can see what you mean.

The cause seems to be the Unsharp Mask adjustment applied to the frame on the master page, if you disable this it will then look correct on all the pages it is applied to

I've passed this on

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Picture frame with unsharp mask is not rendering correctly when applied to pages) of the program in the latest release.

The fixes and how to update are described in these forum posts.

We would appreciate you checking that this issue has now been resolved for you.
