Right Indent Tab as Separator in TOC from Dropdown

In the Table of Contents studio, inserting a right indent tab as a separator from the dropdown does not work. It seems nothing gets inserted.

As a workaround, I found that I can copy a right indent tab from elsewhere and paste it into the separator field, and so doing I am able to successfully use a right indent tab. It is just the dropdown that appears not to work correctly.

My workaround is not working in 1.8.3 or beta 1.8.4.648. When I copy and paste a right indent tab, it is converted to a regular tab. I cannot figure out how to get a right indent tab. I am not sure if my document is different or if something changed since 1.8.2.

Does anyone have an idea to work around this issue? My only idea at the moment is to configure the tab settings to use a regular tab.
