crash 1.8.2

I have now by using 1.8.2 several programm crashes by most simple things.
No reports are made, I have to close AP with ctrl+alt+del other way not possible. mouse or pen are active but no tool or other button is responding.

Hey studio97,

It sounds like you may be hitting a bug many people have been reporting.

Do you ever copy/paste from the internet into Affinity? We finally found a recipe this morning for objects appearing to be frozen on the canvas and a restart is the only way to fix it.

I'm getting a crash right after starting the program. It loads, gets to the start screen, and then crashes. I don't get an error report or anything.

Well, nevermind. Upon a restart, it now works.

I use sometimes a stockphoto yes, but also happen with use a PS brushe small or big no different.

Probably two different issues there and I believe we have discussed the Photoshop brushes in previous threads.

Hi, I found the same problem, during normal retouch work program hangs  and I need to close it and I'm losing all of my work.

It happens several times so far.

Do something please, I keep saving the project but it's impossible to do this after each step...

@marhad Can you confirm that you are failing to interact with objects on the canvas as opposed to a generic app hang?

It's failing when i want to make for example gradient tool or change from paiint brush tool to something else

Hm, this might be different. The issue I'm talking about stops you being able to drag an object around.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Input breaks after switching from Tablet Pen to Mouse) of the program in the latest release.
