v1.8.2 – drag selection works randomly, decimal separator doesn't reflect language settings

I discovered a few bugs in AD v1.8.2, macos 10.14.6, MacBook Pro 15 (2018):

  1. Drag selection sometimes selects also locked objects, sometimes doesn't. It works randomly, I don't recognise any pattern in it.
  2. Combination of Shift + drag selection to add or remove objects to/from current selection doesn't work at all. Shift + click immediately deselect everything.
  3. Decimal separation symbol doesn't reflect system wide settings – should be a comma (,) here in Slovakia, but is a dot (.) instead. I have an English as a main language in macos, but in System Preferences > Language & Region > Advanced... I have selected a comma as decimal separator. It worked ok in pre 1.8.x versions, I'm not sure about 1.8.0 and 1.8.1, but it's broken in 1.8.2.

Hi iwans,

Thanks for letting us know. We're already aware of the issue with Locked Objects, however I've also reproduced the Shift Selection behaviour and passed that on to development. However with the last point, I've found that to be behaving for me. I've attached the screenshots of how I have my language settings, which also shows the Transform Panel values with a comma separator. Would you also be able to attach a copy of your language settings please?

Hi Sean,

here are the screenshots and you are right – now the comma separator works as it should, even though when I'm typing the value to the box in transform panel, it shows dot as a separator and only after I hit the enter key it changes to comma. But I'm sure it was broken this morning, immediately after update 1.8.1>1.8.2, it must have changed somehow after I messed with language settings or something else in system preferences.

For now I'm happy to say that No. 3 is no longer a problem. I hope the No. 1 and 2 will be solved soon.

Thank you.
