After updating to Affinity Designer 1.8.1 my PDF exports tripled in size and text was no longer selectable. Just updated to 1.8.2, I can get file size down, but am still not able to get selectable text on the PDF export. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It may be that you used a type 1 font or applied an effect that requires vectorization or rasterization. Wosven Posted March 17, 2020 Share Posted March 17, 2020 Hi, did you try opening your PDF in one of the Affinity apps? If you do this and your text is an image instead of text you can modify, there's a problem in your export settings or your file, as said by Patrick Connor.
