I have a newly updated MacBook Pro, the laptop I know isn't the issue. I have chosen to make iCloud the cloud storage for all of my photos and I recently wanted to go back and edit a couple photos from previous photo shoots. I went into my folder in iCloud and I am unable to open any photos with Affinity Photo. It's as if they can't be opened unless it is being imported from my sd card or its actually downloaded to the hard drive of my computer. Was going to iCloud the wrong choice? Is having these issues normal? I just would like to open photos from my iCloud folder to affinity photo and it's not working.

Hi Dustin Woolard,

It should work fine. Are you able to open images from other folders on your iCloud? Are any of your other desktop apps able to access files stored on your iCloud?

Thanks
