AP 1.8.1 (mac) Crashing on start (opening raw file)

Hi,

After updating to Affinity Photo 1.8.1, it is crashing when:

• Attempting to open a raw file
• After opening a .jpg or tiff file, Affinity stays open, but crashes when attempting to switch to the develop persona.

Error message: Affinity Photo quit unexpectedly

Note: I do not have this problem using Beta 1.8.2.174

Can you please let me know the RAW engine that you are using

Serif Labs...I presume. AP freezes then crashes before I can check. But I never changed it, so I assume it is the default Serif engine, and not Apple (Core Image RAW). Thanks for your help thus far! No problems with Beta, though, using the Serif engine.

Any other ideas?...just keep using the Beta?
