Aaron Martin Posted March 15, 2020 Share Posted March 15, 2020 Does anyone else has this issue? at 1.7 and prior, every time designer crashed, when open again it asked to restore the progress. It wasn't fully updated but the amount it auto saved was pretty decent. Which made me feel secure even if it crashed, it still had store a good bunch of work without me saving it. Since i updated to 1.8, Designer has crashed several times and when i reopen, it does not restore anything and i have to start working from scratch... which has made me constant hitting command+s every few seconds. This is not up to the standards i expect from serif. which makes me curious how broad is this issue, and what are the ways to fix it. Strangely it is working for documents created from scratch, but for documents opened using File > Open it isn't making any autosaves.
