Pšenda Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 I have an unpleasant problem, afpub file saved in previous version 1.7.3 cannot be opened in version 1.8 - the application always crashes. Based on recommendations from other threads, I tried to install the beta. The document will open, but I will see the missing font in Preflights. Why, if this font is not used in the document at all? Edit: So I tried to install the font - although it is not used in the document to at least disappear from the Preflights. The document still cannot be opened in 1.8. I tried to fix other errors / warnings in Preflights, and apart from the fact that the document is almost 20 MB smaller (49,4 MB to 30,8 MB - a decent saving, it was almost a third of the file completely wasted?), it can be opened in version 1.8.
