I have an XP-Pen Deco 01 V2 tablet and the pressure sensitivity stopped working on Windows 10 since I upgraded to 1.8.  It's working fine with other apps.

I can get it to work by enabling the tablet driver to use windows ink, but I'd rather not since Windows Ink interacts oddly with affinity products.

Hi Stoat256,

Welcome to the forums :)

With our 1.8 update Affinity now requires Windows INK to be enabled.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response.

Is there a reason for this? It was working fine without windows ink until 1.8.

Having Windows Ink enabled is causing some problems for me, the move tool sometimes nudges objects when I click-select them (this behavior does not happen when Ink is disabled.) I do a lot of high-precision work with Designer and I can't afford the possibility that something may get nudged out of place without me noticing it.

Enabling Ink also makes it a lot harder to click-select curves with the nodes tool.

Are there any settings within Designer that will help me with these issues? If so, please let me know.

@Stoat256 Welcome to the forum.

Install the current beta version of Poto or Desinger.
The beta version can be installed parallel to the customer version
There you can deactivate Ink, download here and here.

Cheers
