rvmeush
I just started using Afinity Photo and was looking for some quick way to set the foreground and background colors to black and white. I know that I can use the color palate to se them individually, but is there some quicker way to do it?
gardencat
I've looked around for the same thing and can't find it. I also scrolled through the list of keyboard shortcuts and couldn't find anything there, although there is the same X shortcut, as in Photoshop, for flipping black/white from foreground and background. Not sure if this is an oversight or if the way the colour sampling is set up makes it difficult to do, but I too would really like this simple way to set colours back to black and white. Paekke
D shortcut is not there, Matt actually thought that they got it in already.. it will be in, hopefully in the next update. Lets hope they'll add it in Designer as well. ronnyb
aslusers
This. Please add either a button or a keyboard short cut or both for resetting the color picker to default black and white. It's getting tedious. The "x" keyboard shortcut for switching from black to white while using a tool is there and works for me.
Singapored
Agree. For working in masks this is essential.
Staff MEB Posted December 9, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 9, 2016 Hi Singapored, This shortcut (to set foreground/background colours to black/white) is already available. Go to Affinity Photo Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts section, Photo | Miscellaneous dropdowns, 5th line: Set Fill to Black and White. jphthierry 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
