The same applies to customer version 1.8.0.585. see clip Cheers CYMK.mp4 Affinity Photo 2.5: Affinity Photo 1.10.6: Affinity Designer 2.5: Affinity Designer 1.10.6: Affinity Publisher 2.5: Affinity Publisher 1.10.6: Windows 11 Pro (Version 24H2 Build (26100.2605)
Ron P. Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I think that's not a bug. RGB (or RVB) is an additive color process, CMYK is a subtractive. So the tonal, contrast adjustments are going to behave opposite to the other. So in RGB mode, when moving the Black or White sliders your adding more, making the image darker or lighter respectively. In CMYK, it's the opposite, your subtracting white by moving the slider to the left, and subtracting black moving the slider to the right. Wosven Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Perhaps in a mathematical way it's logical, but it's the only app where the Level adjustement move for CMYK are different from the RVB one. And it seems that after 4-5 years, I can't get acustomed to it! Westerwälder 1
