I managed to get a crash report out of the folder. Windows events is displaying: Unhandled exception error Application: Designer.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.AccessViolationException and about another 10 lines! NB I checked the version but Windows has upgraded this since.
