Switching Windows to Mac

Recommended Posts

I'm using Affinity Designer in Windows10 and considering switching to the MacOs.

Do I have to buy another copy of Affinity Designer just for the MacOS or can I migrate

the windows version to the Mac? Affinity is my goto application and love using it.

@Robsch

Each OS, Windows, Mac, iPad, has its own independent licensing system so transfer of the software between operating systems is not possible.  You will need to buy a copy of the Mac version of Designer if you change your OS.

Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus.  Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2.

iPad Pro (12.9") (iOS 17.4) running Affinity Photo and Designer version 1 and all three version 2 apps.
