JB10940
Whenever I try to create an hdr merge after photos are imported and the merge starts affinity photo crashes and closes out. I am running the latest versions of iPadOS and for affinity photo. I’ve never had this problem before. I’m using my mavic 2 pro and I’ve used the hdr merge before with no problems. Staff Chris B Posted April 1, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 1, 2020 Apologies for the delay JB10940. I've just successfully merged those images 4 times in a row, changing the settings slightly on each attempt. What version of the app are you currently running? No problem at all, I understand that delays occur. I’m on the latest version of the app- 1.8.2 and my iPad is up to date as well. I have been using hdr merge without a problem since I’ve purchased the app. This problem started suddenly. I have deleted and reinstalled the app to see if that would fix it but the problem still persists. I also tried using different photos but the app still crashes. Staff Chris B Posted April 2, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 2, 2020 Thanks for confirming the version. In 1.8.3 we made significant changes to the memory management for the iPad versions which I think will fix this. There is a build available through Testflight:https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/111724-affinity-photo-customer-beta-183180-gm-seed/ Or you can wait for the update to be pushed to the App Store. I'm not too sure when that will be available but I think it might be soon. Follow up- update was available in App Store and I am able to use hdr merge again. Thank you for your help.
