IsabelAracama
This time a Humboldt's squirrel monkey from the Saimiri genus. Affinity Designer pixel persona 100% - Roughly one single brush pressure on, pressure off.Challenging to get the colours always right as I try to pick form the wheel and not using the colour picker. It helps to train better the artist's eye. I also leave here this time-lapse I have created. I explain a bit some differences I find when painting in Designer vs Photo. Thanks Cealcrest :). It's not patience, it's passion. It's my work and I love it, it doesn't entail any kind of will power beyond that of achieving results. Same as a pianist rehearses every day for hours and hours, or a ballerina tries and tries again and again a given move or an athlete trains nonstop to be there where she wants as a professional. There's no so much patience involved here but pure desire to achieve. The feeling is worth it. And just as good is the feeling of managing to find solutions when a problem is presented. You see, rewards galore! That's how Cealcrest 1 Quote isabelaracama.com Youtube Tutorials
firstdefence
I'd appreciate a much slower video, the videos are nice but after a while it becomes hard to watch and you don't get a sense of what you are actually doing. Doing a section of one of your drawings in realtime or even 2x would be a nice video to watch and give an insight. I love the reply to Cealcrest and totally get the philosophy. I still put them there as to get a glimpse. Like references, not using the colour picker much and to show how it nicely builds up. Since you mentioned it, I will have it in mind for the future.
