aaturner Posted March 5, 2020 Share Posted March 5, 2020 I'm trying to open a document prepared in Affinity Publisher 1.7 with Publisher 1.8. The app seems to start correctly but after a few seconds it just shuts down. Publisher 1.8 does start correctly if starting a document from scratch. Could someone please advise me what I might be doing wrong, or must I resign myself to a) reinstalling 1.7 or b) losing the document? I'm attaching the errant file that (at least on my PC) does not open on APUB 1.8 - it was originally created on 1.7. Any guidance as to what might be wrong will be very welcome. R C-R Posted March 9, 2020 Share Posted March 9, 2020 Not that it is of much help for @aaturner but the afpub file opens OK on my Mac running APu 1.8.1, other than that I get a 'missing resources' notice for the 5 linked files, according to the Resource Manager located on that user's C drive.
