Nazariy007
Version 1.3.2 does not allow me to use the deselect tool. Command + D I use the text took a lot and at times want to Com+D to get out and Switch the Move Tool (V) but after this update it not working anymore. Any suggestions or ideas? caspian
caspian
I second that. The menu is greyed out and I get a 'beep' whenever I try to Command+D.
Staff MEB Posted August 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2015 Hi Nazariy007, caspian, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) As far as i know ⌘ (cmd) + D is for deselecting pixel selections. To deselect objects, including text objects, the shortcut key is ESC. The first press exits edit mode, a second one deselects the text box. caspian
On my office Mac (running 10.8 and Designer 1.2) if I create a shape I can CMD+D to deselect it. On my home mac funning 10.10 and Designer 1.3 the menu is greyed out and I get a 'beep' whenever I try to CMD+D. It is true that in Designer 1.2 I can hit ESC to deselect but I can also CMD+D or use the menu Select > Deselect.
