th_studio
Hello everyone! I've a question regarding triming an object. Is there any to remove the transparent background as we do in Adobe Photoshop (Image > Trim)? Looking forward to your answers
walt.farrell
One approach, if the object and background are the complete document, and the checkerboard is not actually part of the object: Choose the Move Tool and click on the object, or select it in the Layers panel. Choose the Artboard Tool. Then in the Context Toolbar change the Size setting to Selection. Click Insert Artboard. Or, if the checkboard is actually part of the object for some reason, instead of step 3 you could use the Artboard Tool to drag an outline around the non-checkerboard part of the object. Murfee
Hi @th_studio, I am not aware of this function in Designer, I would quite like to know if there is 😀 If you also have Affinity Photo you could try File>Edit in Photo, when in Photo go to Document>Clip Canvas. Now go to File>Edit in Designer to return
carl123
Also you can... Select the object Copy it Then File > New from clipboard Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
