radek108
Hi, The question is about black. Why when I click the circle with the probe in the color palette, the default is CMYK, and not just 100% Black? I think it would be better if the default black color was 100% black, than it would still improve. Am I doing something wrong?
Fixx
Documents must be created as CMYK 8. Then it has 100K black. If you start with RGB setup black is a mix of CMYK %. Even if you change document setup from RGB to CMYK blacks will stay rich black. Yes, it a damn nuisance.
radek108
Thanks Fixx for the reactions. The document is an imported idml, in which everything is in CMYK, because it is a printable catalog. Hmmm ... Could it be a matter of color settings?
Fixx
If you can upload the idml we can check how it behaves. If you just open idml it should carry its own colour profiles with it.
radek108
Thanks for your help, but I can't send these files. I'm bound by a contract with a client for whom it's done - I can't share source files. I want to be fair to them.
