Jesse1995
I have been using Affinity photo as a 3rd party editing extension in iPhoto for years, but for the past year I have not been able to save my edits. I was given the beta so that I could work around it, but no longer have access to it because I do not have a product key. I'm tired of having to deal with incompatible software. When will this issue be resolved? I am currently running macOS Catalina 10.15.3 and Affinity Photo 1.8.1.
Staff Chris B Posted March 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 5, 2020 Hey Jesse1995, Many of the Photos issues were resolved in 1.8 and I'm not sure the betas fix anything over the 1.8 retail version. What do you mean you don't have a product key? How are you using the retail version? Did you purchase from us or the Apple Store? Could you give me your workflow step so I can do exactly what you're doing? markw
If you you are being asked for a product key when launching the Beta version of Photo, it suggests to me that you are using an older beta. The newest beta is Beta1.8.2 released today and should be considered as a stable update to the current retail version.https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/109170-affinity-photo-customer-beta-182173/ Quote macOS 12.7.6 | 15" Macbook Pro, 2017 | 4 Core i7 3.1GHz CPU | Radeon Pro 555 2GB GPU + Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 1.536GB | 16GB RAM | Wacom Intuos4 M
