Affinity Publisher for iPad?

Recommended Posts

Will there be an iPad version of publisher? I’ll pay for a copy right this minute, sight unseen!

Due to the fact that Boris Johnson is now our Prime Minister, punctuation, spelling and grammar will never be worried about ever again.  We now have far bigger problems to be worried about.

When the desktop versions were launched it was indicated that an iPad version would follow in about a year’s time.

As that is the case, this is a huge development not only for the iPad, but for iPad users. I might call it an inflection point, since iPad will have professional-level tools which cover the 3 main areas of graphic design. I’m so excited about the coming of Affinity Publisher to iPad, I’m having trouble typing!

I’ll keep my macs, if only to serve as backup hardware for my iPad, now my main electronic creative tool.

If Serif Labs skipping the Studio Link features from desktop Affinity Publisher, it would certainly already been out in standalone version for iPad (me speculating)...

I guess that would make it take longer. I can wait to get that *excellent* functionality.  😉

I don’t see any need to do that as all of the functionality for all three packages is in the common core libraries, what may be a struggle is access to sufficient RAM, it may be that only newer new iPads with 4GB or more RAM can cope with the full package.

Affinity Photo 1.8, Designer 1.8, Publisher 1.8 on MACOS Catalina and Windows 10.
