Hi Dave Galas,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Thanks for getting in touch and reporting these issues. We already have quite a few cases/samples logged. The issue where one of the objects was rotated prior the boolean operation is one of them. I will build a sample file from the first case you showed in your video and add it to our report  to be tested against new code revisions.

I would just add that this has been improved in the latest beta version 1.8.2. Which should also be considered as a stable update to the current release versions.

Hi- I noticed multiple bugs with the boolean operations noted here under MacOS but not under iPad, other than an issue with crashing. I'm experiencing this same issue but on the iPad, specifically the Add function creating a very large shape after one of the initial ones was rotated. Before I post a duplicate bug under that header, is the update going to cover fixing this on both MacOS and iPad?

Thanks!

Thanks, MEB. The rectangle example has been fixed in 1.8.2 Beta, but the tears example has not. Here's a video for your engineers, with no rotation:

Hi DJGJr,
Not all boolean operation bugs were fixed in Beta 1.8.2. Boolean operations between two objects were one of them was rotated were already known and fixed in that build  but the issues you are having with the tears shape and a few others were not. That's why i had to re-create the tears shape issue to add it to our log to be tested against new versions. Whenever you find a case where the boolean operations fails it would be helpful if you could provide/upload the original afdesign file with the original objects intact (before performing the boolean operation) so we can check the issues quicker. Thank you for your reports/support.
