Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @raisin.

I would suggest starting by watching this tutorial: https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/tutorials/publisher/desktop/video/337459129 and following that, if needed, by reading this article in the Publisher Help: https://affinity.help/publisher/English.lproj/pages/Advanced/hyperlinks.html.

If you've already tried any of that, and are having specific problems, please let us know what they are, and we can try to provide some specific answers.

I am using Publisher 1.8 and cannot create a hyperlink for the URL: swaveseyandovertennisclub.btck.co.uk

Other URL's are OK and are active in the exported PDF file but not this one..

Using the 'Interactive - Insert Hyperlink' control all looks Ok. But if I then hit 'Go to Hyperlink Target' it reports 'Failed to launch PDF viewer'.

I have to confess that MS Word behaves oddly with this URL, however, pasting the URL into a browser the web page can be viewed.

Any ideas or a workaround?

That's not really a URL; it's just a character string.

Add either http:// or https:// to the front of it and you have a URL.
