manumella
Designer on iPad, recently updated: when I want to DUPLICATE a BRUSH from a list, the message "new brush added" appears, but no brush appears at the bottom of the list. In Affinity Photo duplication occurs, but in Designer NO
Staff stokerg Posted March 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 5, 2020 Hi manumella, This is working fine for me. Can you provide a screen recording of this not working?
manumella
thank you, I enclose screen recordind. I try to duplicate the first brush, and you can see at the end, there is no duplicate brush at the bottom of the list. This, only in Designer. In Photo I can. You can see the video? Staff stokerg Posted March 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 5, 2020 Hi manumella, Even in the Pixel Persona, I still can't replicate the issue. See my attached recording. I'd suggest reinstalling the app but before doing so, please make sure you've saved any work from the home screen to either a Cloud drive or your local storage. You also want to back up any files in the Affinity Designer folder on local storage and iCloud as uninstalling the app also removes those folders and anything within them RPReplay_Final1583419705.MP4
manumella
yeaaaa... ok thanks!! I have first "uninstalled app" but problem was still there. Then I "deleted app" and I downloaded new. Now works!!!
valaamaris
I’m experiencing the same problem. I’ll try deleting and reinstalling. Also before this I was able to duplicate brushes but it saved multiple copies in in multiple brush categories. I do not have a screen shot as I deleted them but just thought I’d let you know. GScottMoore
Today, I experienced this as well. After reading posts here, I simply quit the program and (double-click home button) swept it out of memory. Then I restarted Affinity Designer. My brush difficulties disappeared. -- Gerry
