Joachim_L
Normally a copied and pasted element which is on a page stays at the same coordinates as the original. If you copy and paste an element which is off-page, the pasted elements jumps to the left. Same behaviour in AD 1.8.0.585. Staff Jon P Posted March 27, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 27, 2020 Bit late getting round to this but it seems alright for me now, do you still get this in 1.8.3? Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
Joachim_L
Sorry, still jumping in 1.8.3.627. P.S.: Depending on the zoom the jumps differ. If you zoom close to the element, the hop is quite small. If you zoom out, the pasted element jumps horizontally centered on the page. Staff Jon P Posted March 30, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 30, 2020 Seems to be alright for me at different zoom levels, might be misunderstanding though. Any chance of a short video? Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com

I moved the copied original element a bit higher to show what happens at 400% zoom and at 100% zoom. Don't spend too much time on this, probably I am the only one who has a problem with this. To avoid trouble, I get the results with Ctrl+C+Ctrl+V. With Ctrl+J the rectangle stays in place.
