Jumping elements (off-page)

Recommended Posts

Normally a copied and pasted element which is on a page stays at the same coordinates as the original. If you copy and paste an element which is off-page, the pasted elements jumps to the left. Same behaviour in AD 1.8.0.585.

Sorry, still jumping in 1.8.3.627.

P.S.: Depending on the zoom the jumps differ. If you zoom close to the element, the hop is quite small. If you zoom out, the pasted element jumps horizontally centered on the page.

Any chance of a short video?

Unfortunately not, maybe later at home. Anyway here a small graphic. I moved the copied original element a bit higher to show what happens at 400% zoom and at 100% zoom. Don't spend too much time on this, probably I am the only one who has a problem with this. To avoid trouble, I get the results with Ctrl+C+Ctrl+V. With Ctrl+J the rectangle stays in place.
