Michel9345
Hello, Affinity 1.8.1 {on mac Mojave 1.14.6) Brushes appear as a simple pointer, not showing their usual cercle and size.. So, impossible to see the limit of the brush you use. Same with eraser ... and all tools which should automatically show a circle on the screen, when selected/chosen in the toolbar.. The pointer is changing to a circle only when I maintain a left click, but this circle is immediately dissapearing, showing again the pointer when I release the click. Could you please help me? Thank you, Michel

firstdefence
Vague questions get vague replies, but screenshots help. You can ignore Affinity Publisher so it's a pitch between Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo and my mystical self 🧙♂️is telling me to go for the latter. Dan C
@Michel9345 Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Could you please provide a screenshot showing your issue? Are you using a drawing tablet or other input device that is not a mouse?
Michel9345
Hello, Thank you for your concern. Being desperate to solve the problem, I sent a mail to Affinity itself and I received an answer from Callum (Affinity Team) : " Please could you try opening the app with the CTRL key held down and when the reset menu appears click Select All then Clear to see if this solves your issue? Many thanks, Callum @ Affinity Support" This fixed problem. To answer your question, yes I use sometimes an XP-PEN tablet, but that did not apparently cause the trouble since now everything is working fine. Thank you, Michel Dan C
