Hi guys,

Awesome the work you are doing.

Impatient to see the last item of the triad (Publisher)

Just one question, maybe is answer, you expect to have support for Corel (CDR) files in future?

I don't know if it can be done or not but I have a lot of work done that I would like to export to Affinity.

Thanks!

Hi there

We realy need to import CDR files in designer 2.

Or at least PDF.

Rune

Hi @Mikas and welcome to the forum.

Designer 2 can't open CDR files but it can open PDF.

We have tons of work in CDR, so we would realy like to convert them into Affinity without making PDFs.

Another thing is we realy need spell check in Danish in Publisher.

If you have a lot of CDR files you might want to consider using a CDR to SVG or PDF converter.

You can add Danish spell checking by installing a dictionary.

LibreOffice does a decent conversion of CDR to PDF to get CDR's into Affinity - I'm Mac based and don't have any access to a PC so the odd time someone sends me an MS Publisher file, Libreoffice to the rescue - it's usually my first port of call for anything I can't open natively and it's FREE
