Difficult to select objects, very unnatural

Recommended Posts

After upgrading to 1.8.0, if I want to select an object (text, picture, table, anything...) I need to first select the layer where the object lives and then I'm able to select the object.

Is this intentional??? I have several layers and sometimes I don't know where the object is, I need to search within all layers and this is very frustrating.

Please advice

Are you referring to using master pages? If I have a page with a layer on that contains objects I can select the objects inside that layer by just clicking on them

Can you reproduce this on a new document?
