Can't open files since update 1.7 (Windows sysytem)

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone!

I'm not sure whether this is the place for my problem but anyway...

Please view my attached pic to see my problem. When I open any programm of Affinity Suite, I can always work on my latest files. But when I try to open a new one I often get what is shown in the screenshot. The strange thing about it is, this doesn't occur each time I open Affinity. Usually, if Affinity opens very quickly, I know this problem will occur. If Affinity takes a while for loading, I know it'll be fine. Luckily, I can work on my notebook but I rather have my problem solved. Ideas anyone?

My system: i7, 16 RAM and a GeForce GTX 560 Ti, which unfortunately isn't updated via drivers anymore.

Hi Plan_B :)

This is an issue that occurs in Windows 10 and unfortunately isn't related to the Affinity update, I recommend checking out the below Microsoft link regarding this -

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-explorer-folders-and-files-have-missing/f9394940-ad50-4966-bc18-2a20db14be0c

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
