Menu Bar Weirdness

Recommended Posts

I've attached a screenshot on the issue that was present in 1.7, but wasn't removed in 1.8 so might as well ask what's up with this. Appears when the app is in fullscreen mode on MacOS. Nothing important, just visually annoying.

1. Was present in 1.7, why do the 3 buttons have a gradient background?

2. Also from 1.7, why does the title slide down diagonally?

3. This is a new one in 1.8, this gradient thing appears only when I hook up my MacBook to my external 4k display.

Besides those 3 things I've noticed that the MacOS menu bar and the black Affinity bar don't come down in sync but actually the Affinity bar animation is faster than the MacOS bar. It's hard to explain this so bear with me. It's like in the animation they both have the same origin point but they both come down at the same time as 2 different bars independent of each other where they should be attached to each other and slide down as as a single piece of UI. Compare the Affinity menu bar to pretty much any other MacOS fullscreen app and you should see the difference.

Any fixes for all this or is it all just on Serif' end?
