Hey everyone,

For some reason I can't get my text to hyphenation in Affinity Photo. I am using frame text and I have hyphenation auto and I even tried setting it to English but it won't hyphenate.

Am I missing somethinghere?

Affinity Photo does not do automatic text hyphenation; that's a Publisher function. The only "auto" setting for hyphenation in Photo is to set the hyphenation language. The setting to actually enable automatic hyphenation is not part of the Photo user interface (UI).

If you have Publisher, you can open your file in Publisher, set the automatic hyphenation option on the Paragraph panel, save the file, then continue working in Photo. (Or, to simplify that you can use Edit in Publisher from Photo, then Edit in Photo from Publisher. Or you can use the Photo Persona in Publisher.)

Once you have automatic hyphenation enabled in the file, Photo should perform that function. (I have only tested this in Designer, where this approach does work.)

Thank you, I used the Edit in Publisher option and worked well!
