StudioLink not working for me (v: 1.8.1)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am trying to use the StudioLink photo persona from Affinity Publisher, and used this tutorial as basis: https://affinity.serif.com/fr/tutorials/publisher/desktop/video/337465563/, but this is not working for me. When I add a filter, it adds the filter to the full page (containing 3 photos) and not only to the layer selected. If I try to move the filter down to the picture frame, then it looks like I am loosing control of the layer and cannot edit it (no dialog is displayed anymore), nor delete it.

Anyone facing the same issue?

Thanks

Philippe

I don't see that, but I'm on Windows, so maybe it's a Mac-only issue.

Are you talking about Filters or Live Filters? Both seem to work fine for me.

Hi @pburki, I am on a Mac and the Adjustments & Live Filter layers work as expected for me, you might want to check the Assistant while you are in the Photo Persona, if you have the settings highlighted in my screenshot set to adding as a new layer, this might be the cause of your problems, try changing them to add as a child layer. For me as long as I still have the layer selected when I go to the Photo Persona the edits only apply to that layer not the whole page.
