Which version of Affinity Photo did you used, v1.7.3 or the new v.1.8.x and on which platform here (Win or Mac)?

Hi, how are you accessing the raw files? I’ve seen several reports of different raw types not opening on iPads but the samples I have all open without issue on AP 1.8 , including Sony Alpha 6000. Maybe the method of transferring the raw files to your iPad is causing an issue in the latest release.

That is the method that people are reporting issues. Possibly shooting raw+jpg is the issue. Have you tried shooting just raw. Some report that still works. Affinity should have a fix shortly as they are currently running a public beta with some fixes already applied.
