captain13chris Posted July 16, 2015 Share Posted July 16, 2015 Hi, I'd like to request a setting, maybe general or in the export dialogue. When I edit a photo, RAW or jpg, and I export it as a jpg, I most of the time want it to include the original date and time when I took the picture. Affinity Photo unfortunately writes the date and time of export into the EXIF information. A setting to change this would be most welcome! Or maybe I've just overlooked something? It would be nice if there was a setting to preserve the original date and location data when doing the export to file or to Photos. Right now, it seems Affinity Photo requires, when opening a photo, to "develop" it before using the Photo Persona if I want the EXIF date and location to be saved in the exported jpg file. Five Photos Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 In the current version of Affinity Photo, the creation date still is being changed to the date and time of the export.
