EXIF date on export setting

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'd like to request a setting, maybe general or in the export dialogue. When I edit a photo, RAW or jpg, and I export it as a jpg, I most of the time want it to include the original date and time when I took the picture. Affinity Photo unfortunately writes the date and time of export into the EXIF information. A setting to change this would be most welcome!

Or maybe I've just overlooked something?

Regards,

Chris

I'd second this. It would be nice if there was a setting to preserve the original date and location data when doing the export to file or to Photos. Right now, it seems Affinity Photo requires, when opening a photo, to "develop" it before using the Photo Persona if I want the EXIF date and location to be saved in the exported jpg file.

Cheers,

Mark
