IonImpulse Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Hello! I was trying to export this file as a PDF to test some stuff and it errors out on me every time I try to export pages. However, when I export as spreads, it works just fine. Any ideas on why this would happen? Yeast_Lab_Report.afpub Quote
Dan C Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Hi IonImpulse, Welcome to the forums Sorry to see you're having trouble, I've run your file through our PDF logging script and it appears as though it's one of the Hyperlink anchor objects that's causing the export to fail, as it tries to write the hyperlink to a minus value that does not exist. Could you please try removing these hyperlinks, re-add them and then try exporting again? This is a known issue and is with our development team to be fixed ASAP, I'll bump the report with your thread now! IonImpulse 1 Quote
IonImpulse Posted February 28, 2020 Author Posted February 28, 2020 Thank you! It exported as soon as I removed those hyperlinks. It's still odd that it worked with spreads and not pages. Quote
Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 15, 2020 Staff Posted March 15, 2020 We have made fixes/improvements to this area (User File Failing to export with Pages selected) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Windows Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.2 update/patch to all customers.
