1.8.0 - New Document - Submenu missing after Template use

In Publisher 1.8.0 [Windows) after using the, 'Templates' option if you cancel and pull up the New Document window and select, "Presets" the sub-menu choices no longer appear.

To reproduce:

1. File > New
2. Templates
3. Click the 'Cancel' button
4. File > New
5. Presets

Hi @stewart_whaley,

Thanks for spotting this. As a workaround, close the dialogue with "Presets" opened. Next time you open it, it should be fine.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (New document menu > Type submenu missing after closing it on "Template")  in the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. 

The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts.

• Affinity Photo 1.8.1.611 for Windows
• Affinity Designer 1.8.1.611 for Windows
• Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Windows

These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version.

Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.1/1.8.2 update/patch to all customers.
