Designer 1.8 paste style not available in pop up menu and not working in edit menu

The fix for removing background colour on imported text blocks no longer works. The long press pop up menu no longer offers paste style and the Edit menu paste style does not appear to change the style, screen recording shows text with white background. Style copied from clear background does not apply when pasted. This worked in 1.7

Hi DM1,

I've just tried this on both 1.7.3 iPad and 1.8 iPad and they both behave the same - I wasn't getting any Paste Style option when long pressing. With regards to the option on the Edit Menu, you need to ensure you copy the selected object (and not when you have text highlighted). It will then work when you use Paste Style.

Obviously this is just still a workaround until such time the issue does get fixed!

Thanks Sean, seniors moment on my part. Workaround will suffice for now.
