Boroji
Hello, I have installed the new version of 1.8 for all of my Affinity product. However, the moment I press enter to go to the next line the text format changes ?? such a weird behavior after installing the update. The file is attached maybe someone can take a look at it. You can take a look at the video as well. Is it a bug or maybe I am doing something wrong ? Thank you, text-frame-bug.mp4 text-frame-bug.afdesign
Boroji
FYI it works totally fine in Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher, I have just checked it. This Text Frame bug only occurs in Affinity Designer. photo-publisher.mp4
walt.farrell
That is strange. I do not get that in any of my documents, though I see it in the document you posted. Does it happen in other documents, for you, or just that one? See below for the reason it's happening. walt.farrell
It is happening because your Pa0 Text Style is defined as having a "Next Style" of "Default". That means that when you use Enter, which starts a new paragraph, the style changes. If you need to force a line break, but stay in the same paragraph, use Shift+Enter. Boroji
@walt.farrell thank you so much. You are right I had the Pa0 Text Style for no reason !! The moment I removed that style it worked perfectly as usual. Thank you.
