Can't update Affinty Designer 1.8.0

I'm having a hard time updating Affinity 1.8.  Each time I attempt to update, it tells me setup fail.  Can someone please help.

Hi Habarijoy,

Welcome to the forums

Please could you call up the run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R and then enter the following %temp% \AffinitySetup into the run box and click ok.  This should open a folder, with some other folders in.  Open the latest folder and there should be 2 log files, Setup.log and SetupUI.log. Please attach these two files to this thread so I can look into this further with you.

What should I do if I can't find the setup file?  I don't have it my downloads.  I'm afraid that if I uninstall the program I won't be able to get back in to use it.  I don't have my purchase email because my son accidentally deleted some of my archived emails.  Will it be ok to uninstall and then reinstall?
