Hi aleale1,

Is this reproducible for you? If possible would you be able to get a screen recording showing the steps you are taking to reproduce please? Unfortunately I've not been able to reproduce it, and want to make sure I'm not missing any important steps.

I attached the file.
I guess you had not been able to reproduce it because you changed stroke color through the Color panel.
Try to change the color of a black stroke in the Appearance panel by clicking on a black circle icon.
The AD freezes when changing stroke parameters in the Appearance panel, not in the Color or Stroke panels.

Thanks for that! It is indeed, changing the colour using the flyout in the appearance that was doing it. The stroke width is fine however via the Appearance Panel - just seems to be the colour. I'll get it passed on to development.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Hang after changing Stroke Colour with Move Tool selected using Appearance Panel) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below.

The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts.

These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version.

Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.1/1.8.2 update/patch to all customers.
