Publisher for Windows - 1.8.0 font problem (split)

Hi,

I have just installed the update for Publisher on my PC and it has scrambled my fonts. The update installation I have done on my laptop seems fine. How do I sort the PC installation out?

I have the same problem with all three apps on my desktop pc. All the fonts are completely scrambled, i.e. not matching font name/preview and switching to random font upon selection. I run Windows 10 on my PC.  And on my laptop everything works fine - also Win10.

Hi @Fanner,

Can you post a screenshot of how the fonts appear in your drop down?  Can you also confirm you are not getting a crash?

Hi again,

I have taken a screenshot of the mess the 1.8.0 installation is making of my fonts..  

No crash once loaded, but sometimes only loads completely at second or third attempt. 

I reinstalled the previous version to my PC to carry on working. This is fine, but now can only work with the latest version of the publication on laptop as PC has earlier version of software, of course.

Updated Photo on PC with the same font mess resulting. Running latest version of Windows 10 on both.

Ideally we want to get 1.8 running on your main PC.  Would you mind trying the update again? I've updated my Windows install of Affinity a number of times in trying to replicate this and my fonts have been fine each time.
