But does this really represent what users (esp. PRO-Users) are looking for, when using a stock image collection? (Getty, Corbis..) For e.g. advertising they are looking for mood-Images ("happiness" etc..). For other purposes they look for generic imagery ("forest", "calm lake" etc.) Don´t get me wrong: Of course its good to have sources. But perhaps some more image-sources, even commercial ones, are more useful? Also keep in mind that free sources are often not multi-lingually indexed (compared to commercial sources..) Not every user is working in the business/advertising field - we have had people on the forum typesetting bibles, making photo books, working in academia... once footnotes/endnotes get added we could be seeing a lot more academic users, which may well include people working on reports and other kinds of documents for history classes - or perhaps something going through the history of math, or the history of some other field...?
