artnok
This is a the first time I'm loosing such an amount of work in a crashed document. The previous versions were crashing but were preserving 90% of my opened document so that I did not have to think about saving, saving, saving... Here is a log of my latest crash... I'm sooooooooo saaaaaaaad... crash-affinity-1.8.rtf Jowday
Staff Gabe Posted February 28, 2020 Staff Share Posted February 28, 2020 Hi @artnok, We had an issue with 1.8.0 crashing when painting and shortly released a fix (1.8.1). I see yours crashed in 1.8.0 so the cause is most likely fixed.
artnok
I still have some crashes that do not recover properly. In previous versions, documents were fully recovered whereas my new documents are partially recovered... This means a big loss of informations each time Designer crashes. Is there something I can do about that?
Staff Gabe Posted March 3, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 3, 2020 That all depends on the Preferences > Performance > File Recovery Interval. If you set a very high value, this would by why.
artnok
It does not depend on that. Sometimes, I have no recovery file at all... And by the way, it is set to 300 sec. Which is the shortest I can set. So that's not the problem in my case.
