I have downloaded the updated apps and installed them, but when I try to open them get an error message that the files are damaged and need to be put in the trash. I see that others have had similar problems, but can't find a solution. Please can anyone give me an idea of what to try next to get them opened and validated? It was so easy when I downloaded them last time!

Welcome to the forum

We have just released an update to the 1.8 release please can you go to toy Affinity Store account and re-download the latest version from the Product Key & Downloads section of your account.

Sadly I am getting the same response with today's update. I have rebooted my iMac, and the OS is up to date, but this is still the response I get when I try to open an app.
