jk1
Just updated to Affinity Photo 1.8.0.585 using Windows 7. I can't apply any of the blend modes from the layers panel anymore. Can somebody confirm this?
carl123
You only have one layer. What happens if you duplicate that layer and apply blend modes to the duplicate? jk1
With the duplicate the blend modes do work. I'm not sure if I remember that correctly, but if I'm not mistaken, the blend modes also did work with a single layer in 1.7.3 and earlier versions. Ray S.
I've tried that with one layer. I can change the blendmodes but except for the erase-mode there is no change in the pixels. For me that make sense because there are no pixel underneath to blend with, so every pixel in the layer will be added/multiplied with 0.
