(1.8release) again no preflight in separated mode?

This has happened early in the 1.8 beta and had already been fixed.

Now, again, the preflight panel is missing.

 

Serious question to Affinity staff: Does anybody of you use separated mode at all? (It always seems like you don't care that much...)

Anyways, thank you for this otherwise awesome new release!

  • Main machine: iMac 2019 (21,5-inch 4k, 6core), 64GB RAM, 1TB nvme + 2TB ssd, running on Mac OS 13;
  • Display setup: 28" 5k Display (primary) + 21,5" iMac4k-Display for studio panels (secondary);
  • Keyboard layout: german apple extended keyboard (aluminium);

Does the panel not appear on the Studio dropdown when in Separated Mode? I see it here.

It might help to do a CTRL Run up of the software.

I use separated mode to do some testing, but I tend to not have it on by default.

Thanks, ctrl-start did the trick. 

Now, we only need the missing feature to save the panel positions (aka "workspaces") so I don't have to arrange these billion panels again on my second monitor...

 

(it's as if you come into your office monday morning and realize that friday afternoon the cleaning person swiped your desk and made one heap of stuff with your meticulously organised documents...)
